US SolarWorks offers energy storage systems to pair with your solar. Our solutions are custom engineered to meet your energy needs. We design battery backup systems for both residential and commercial applications.
Having an energy storage battery to charge with solar provides many benefits for your home or business.
- You can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your essential electrical needs can continue to function during a power outage.
- Use your solar energy when you need it. Excess solar production while the sun is out will charge your battery so you can continue to use your solar power after the sun goes down.
- Avoid demand charges by using your battery at peak hours.
- Take advantage of additional rebates and incentives for installing an energy storage system.

Connected Solutions Demand Response Programs from National Grid and Eversource allow your utility company to access your battery at specific times to help manage demand and reduce strain on the grid. In exchange, enrolled battery owners are paid for the energy provided by their storage system. These programs are available in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Homeowners and businesses who install an Energy Storage System are also able to take advantage of a federal tax credit called the Investment Tax Credit (ITC). The ITC is currently worth 26% of the value of solar energy projects, including storage, installed before the end of 2022. This tax credit is scheduled to decrease to 22% for 2023. In 2024, the tax credit will fall to 10% for commercial projects, and will be eliminated entirely for residential projects.
