Kent County Water Authority recently built a new headquarters building in West Greenwich, RI. US SolarWorks won a competitive bid to build a solar array to power their new building. With all major equipment in place, we are finishing construction and preparing to power up for the first time.

Our design for this site used the best equipment available to maximize power output, and provide a system that will be long-lasting. This system uses 635kW of Silfab solar panels, which are a North-American manufacturer with one of the most efficient products on the market, backed by one of the best warranties in the industry. We also used SMA solar inverters, which are the gold standard for inverter technology.

All parties involved have been pleased with the smooth installation of this project, with the entire system being built in only a few weeks after receiving utility approval. The US SolarWorks team is proud to be able to provide a high quality system and expert installation while remaining price competitive to win municipal bids.

We have built several municipal projects in the past, including five carports for Franklin County in Massachusetts, and an assortment of carport, ground mount, and rooftop arrays for the City of Newport in Rhode Island. Take a look on our portfolio page to see some of our other completed municipal solar projects!
